Handmade Christmas tree ornaments:
With paper and glitter

Rabbit tree hangers with glitters

In this video, I share the full step-by-step process of creating festive DIY paper Christmas tree ornaments using simple materials such as paper, markers, glitter gel pens, and sequins. The focus of the tutorial is on turning hand-drawn designs into cheerful, colorful ornaments that can be enjoyed as part of a handmade Christmas decoration.

The video follows the creative journey from the initial sketch and outline, through coloring and adding decorative details, all the way to the final finishing touches that bring each ornament to life. Along the way, I demonstrate how small details, like glitter highlights, layered colors, and careful outlining. This can make a big difference in the final result.

To make the process easier and more accessible, especially for viewers who want to jump straight into crafting, I’m also sharing a rabbit ornament trace sheet used in the video. This trace sheet allows you to skip the drawing stage if you wish and move directly into coloring, decorating, and assembling your ornaments, while still leaving plenty of room for personal creativity and variation.

The trace sheet is designed as a supportive tool rather than a shortcut, it helps speed up the workflow while encouraging you to experiment with your own color choices, glitter accents, and festive details. For the complete experience, including tips, techniques, and the full creative process, the video remains the central guide.

Rabbit ornament trace sheet

This printable rabbit trace sheet was created for the DIY Christmas tree ornament project by @WebstudioSketchbook part of Webstudio 2Amigos

The sheet includes four original, hand-drawn rabbit designs that are used in the step-by-step video tutorial, where paper ornaments are transformed using markers, glitter gel pens, sequins, and festive details.

The trace sheet is intended to help speed up the crafting process while still leaving plenty of room for personal creativity. You can trace the designs onto paper or cardstock, cut them out, and decorate them in your own style before turning them into Christmas tree ornaments.
