New Video!
Drawing in Júzcar
In this video, I head into the mountains of Southern Spain to explore Júzcar, also know as the Smurf Village or as the Blue Village.
Bright blue houses, playful murals, and characters around every corner, it feels stepping into another world. But instead of just exploring, I decide to slow things down...sit, obsertve, and draw.
I sketch a dear statue that caught my eye in the village and later finish the piece at home using watercolor pencils, ink, and acrylic markers. Turning a moment from the trip into a finished artwork.
This video is about the experience: the ride, the place, and the creative process.
From 3D paper art to drawing, coloring, and flipbook animation, each tutorial guides you step by step as flat ideas turn into playful handmade pieces. The pace is intentionally slow, giving you time to explore color, layering, and movement while learning through hands-on practice.
Most of all, this space is about having fun and staying motivated. There's no pressure to be perfect and no rush to finish. Just creative curiosity, cozy making sessions, and the joy of bringing paper artwork to life by hand.
