Marbella Real Estate UX/UI Design
Client: Marbella rentals and sales
Role: Web Designer
I created the complete UX and UI design for this real estate website, focused on making the property search experience intuitive, luxurious, and easy to navigate for a diverse, international clientele interested in rentals and sales in Marbella, Spain.
Header & Navigation
The header features a clean, classic serif logo, setting an upscale tone aligned with the luxury property market.
Contact details are prominently displayed at the top-right for immediate access, a crucial UX decision in real estate where fast communication is key.
Language selector flags are included, anticipating an international audience and enhancing accessibility for English, Spanish, German, and Dutch speakers.
The horizontal navigation bar below the header organizes the site into clear, user-friendly sections: Home, About us, Property sales, Rentals, Location, News, Contact. This menu structure ensures visitors can quickly reach key information.
Hero Carousel-
The central area uses a wide, three-panel image carousel showcasing prime Marbella properties (Puerto Banus, Guadalmina, Marbella Playa). These high-quality photos immediately engage users with visual cues of the luxury lifestyle they’re seeking.
-
Carousel arrows on either side enable easy browsing of featured listings, while retaining a minimal, unobtrusive style to keep focus on the images.
Introductory & Value Proposition Sections
-
- Below the carousel, three horizontally aligned information blocks succinctly explain:
2 - Services offered for renters, buyers, and sellers.
3 - The exclusive properties available.
-
Each section includes an image for visual context, supported by concise, scannable text to communicate key selling points efficiently.
Property Search Widget
A search module is centrally positioned, with dropdown menus for Property type, Sub area, and Price. Users can quickly customize search parameters.
A clear toggle option for Sale or Rental tailors the experience to the user’s needs, reducing friction and enhancing usability.
The large, high-contrast Search button makes the call to action immediately visible and accessible.
Newsletter Sign-up
Positioned prominently just above the footer to capture visitor interest without disrupting their browsing flow.
The minimal design, an input field and a bold Submit button, keeps it simple and inviting, encouraging users to engage.
Footer
The footer provides complete contact details and quick links to all main site sections, ensuring users can navigate or get in touch from any page.
Social media icons are included for Facebook, Twitter, and RSS, extending brand presence and providing multiple engagement channels.
A subtle “Designed by” credit is included, keeping the focus on the brand.
Overall UX & UI Approach
The color palette uses elegant blues and whites, aligning with the coastal, high-end image of Marbella.
Layout spacing and typography are designed to give a sense of sophistication and openness, avoiding clutter.
User-centric design choices prioritize immediate access to property details, easy navigation, and multi-language support, all essential for the international real estate market Marbella serves.
This UI and UX design resulted in a website that feels polished, trustworthy, and tailored for clients seeking premium properties, while providing an efficient, frictionless browsing experience.
